The Artists
The Author
Trevor, born and raised in British Columbia, wrote and illustrated his first book, Pierogi and Weevil, at the age of three. An avid writer and reader ever since, there was no helping his love for stories from spilling over onto his three children, and nightly story time became an inviolate ritual, adamantly demanded for by the children themselves.
Professionally, Trevor’s own writing career took a hard left into the “Land of the Grownups” for a decade or two too many. After spending years as a copywriter and technical writer, he returned to the silly and whimsical in 2021 to share the adventures swimming in his head with the rest of the children of the world.
The Illustrator
Christina‘s love of drawing began before she can remember. Tasked with designing fairies, monsters, and superheroes by her friends so they could all play fantasy games on the playground, she began her illustration career as the art director for her pint-sized peers.
She then studied fine art and design at some of the most prestigious schools in the country, where she found herself longing for those long summer days with friends. Children’s book illustration presented itself as the perfect time-traveling tool. By day, she is a mom to her imaginative daughter, and by night she is the illustrator of Frog’s adventurous forest realm.
