Why Storybook Crate?

  • Each book is written in rhyme to help create a pleasant bedtime rhythm, and they are just simple adventure stories to keep little listener’s attention. Also, “hard words” have been proven to induce a natural sleepiness in readers, so we have just enough of those sprinkled in. You can see sample pages from several of the books here.
  • Each book is between 40-50 pages long, which might sound big for a bedtime book, but the quantity of text contained in those pages is just a few minutes of reading, and at the end of each story is a re-enforcement of the bedtime steps your child received in their Operation Bedtime manual.

The text is also designed to properly contrast against the background illustrations, because we have too often encountered unreadable text in other books, especially in the low light of a sleepytime environment.
