Return Policy
Overview
If you need to return or exchange your order for any reason, we’re here to help! We offer returns or exchanges within 14 days of receipt for all unused or damaged merchandise, minus the cost of return ground shipping for returns (we are but a little company, so sadly can’t absorb the shipping costs of returns).
You can return your product for store credit or a refund to the original payment method, or if your Crate arrived damaged, please see the Exchanges section below.
Exceptions
Please note the following exceptions to our return and refund policy:
- Returned items must have no visible signs of wear or use.
- All items initially received within the Crate must be returned to receive a full refund.
- Items must be returned in the original packaging.
Return Form
To initiate a return, please complete the following form:

Then What Happens?
After you have submitted the form:
- You will receive a prepaid return shipping label by email within two business days.
- Neatly package all items in the original box.
- Print the prepaid return shipping label and attach this over the previous label.
- Drop the package off at the applicable carrier’s drop-off location.
Exchanges
We only exchange items if they arrived defective or damaged. If your Crate was damaged during shipping, please take plenty of pictures to document the condition in which the package arrived.
To start an exchange, fill out the Return Form above and select “Exchange” under the Refund Option field. If you are doing an exchange due to shipping damage, send pictures of the damage to info@storybookcrate.com, with your order number in the “re” line. Not sending images can delay our ability to process your claim.
Additional Information
- Refunds are processed within seven business days after receipt of the return.
- You will receive an email notification when the return and refund have been processed.
- If any items are missing in the return, the value of all missing items will be deducted from the refund.
- Your return request will remain open for 30 days after submission, after which we will assume you have decided to keep our product. Thank you!
